How Do You Get Chicken Oil Out Of Shirt

Ithaca

Ithaca, that nation will never forget and that Odysseus had in mind during the years of exile ... Constantine Cavafy poem I like, because it is a poem full of force, which reminds us that life is a experience, and always keep our dreams high and never lose them.

Ithaca

When you're on the way to Ithaca,
want it to be a long road,
full of adventure, full of knowledge.
At Lestrygonians and the Cyclops,
the angry Poseidon do not fear, such
never find your way,
if you keep high thinking
, and select emotion
your spirit and your body enticing.
At Lestrygonians and the Cyclops, wild Poseidon
not find,
if not carry them within your soul,
if your soul does not put before you.

like to make it a long way.
there be many summer mornings when
with what joy, what joy
anchor at ports never seen before,
you stop at Phoenician marts, and acquires
valuables
nacres and coral, amber and ebony,
and sensual perfumes of all kinds, many more
sensual perfumes can,
sees cities of Egypt, to many,
learns and learns the educated.

Always keep Ithaca in your mind.
The arrival there is your destiny.
But do not hurry the voyage at all. Best
it lasts for years,
and now old flock to the island,
rich with all you've gained on the way,
without waiting to give you riches Ithaca.

Ithaka gave you the beautiful voyage.
Without her you would have set out.
But it has more to give.

And if you find her poor, Ithaka will not deceive you.
So wise as I did, with so much experience, and understand what they mean
the Ithaca.
